Our Mission

The mission of Greater Wayside Temple Church of God in Christ is to lead people to Jesus Christ and membership in his family; seek to help them to become Christ-like; and equip them for their ministry in the church and life mission in the world, in order to magnify God. ''and be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God. '' Rom. 12:

Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written word of God.
 
We believe in God
We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost.
 
We believe in the blessed hope
We believe in the blessed hope which is the rapture of the church of the church of God which is in Christ at his return.  
 
We believe in healing
We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing to human beings.
 
We believe in Salvation
We believe the regeneration by the holy ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation. 
 
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost
We believe the baptism according to Acts 2:4 is given to believers who ask for it. 
 
We believe in Sanctification    
We believe in baptism of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a free and separated life in this present world.
